Jake Kerr
Jake Kerr is currently writing screenplays and developing television shows for Hollywood, but he has spent his entire life writing in some form or fashion. His short fiction has appeared in Lightspeed magazine, and he has been a finalist for the Nebula Award and was shortlisted for the StorySouth Million Writers and Theodore Sturgeon Memorial awards. He has subsequently been published in multiple anthologies and magazines across the globe, including the seminal anthology, The Year’s Best Science Fiction, edited by Gardner Dozois.
He has two series currently available: The children’s/young adult fantasy series featuring Tommy Black and an epic fantasy series entitled The Guildmaster Thief. His novel, Thursday, updating G.K. Chesterton’s legendary The Man Who Was Thursday was released in 2017. His Hollywood work has required his taking a break from working on his series, but he promises to get back to them some day. He’s just not sure when.
