Markus Wessel was born on a pirate ship traversing the wine-dark Adriatic Sea. After a long career in public relations for elder gods, he chose to spend his golden years as a professional jewel thief and amateur lion-tamer–not at the same time–and is known on three continents for his skills in impromptu sonnet, dance, and bakery. As a genre writer, he lies for fun and profit and believes that entertainment really ought to come first.
